Three tabs by Acer!
Acer launched its three tablets in Iconia family – Iconia Tab 8 W, Iconia Tab 10 A3-A20 and Iconia Tab One 8 at IFA Berlin 2014.
The Acer Iconia Tab 8 W comes with 8-inch (1280x800p) IPS display running on Windows 8.1. It is loaded with 1.3GHz quad core processor powered by 1GB RAM. It has 32GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD. Acer is also giving optional keyboard as accessory. It comes with bundle of software Microsoft Office 365 Personal which will include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and One Note.
The Acer Iconia Tab W will be available in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) from October for EUR 149 (approx. Rs.11,800). It will come in White colour only.
The Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A20 and Iconia Tab One 8 are Android tablets running on KitKat v 4.4. The Iconia Tab 10 comes with 1.3GHz quad core processor running on 10.1-inch FHD IPS display based on Zero Air Gap technology, anti-finger print coating with Gorilla Glass Protection. It has 1GB RAM with 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants. It sports 5MP rear shooter and 2MP front shooter. The tablet has Dolby Digital Plus surround sound speakers and 5.1 channel surround sound headphones. The Iconia Tab will be available for $199 (approx. Rs. 12,000).
The Acer Iconia 8 will come in 10 different colours – Sunshine Yellow, Sky Blue, Fragrant Pink, Jade Green, Midnight Black, Vivid Orange, Essential White, Garnet Red, Mia Blue, Violet Purple. It hardware specifications is not revealed yet.
