Asus launched the ROG phone, which is the company’s first gaming smartphone. It has 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED HDR 90Hz AMOLED display with DCIP3 gamut with Gaming HDR and Mobile HDR supported. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 processor which is clocked at 2.96GHz which is powered by 8GB of RAM. It comes with GameCool system that improves thermal and 3D vapour chamber works to transfer the heat away from the processor.
It has two ultrasonic dedicated buttons, one in the left edge and one in the bottom right edge. The buttons can be configured for non-gaming tasks like launching apps and activating functions using one hand. An advance haptic engine generated nuanced vibrations for detailed fore feedback. It comes with WiGig-certified for 802.11ad 60GHz WiFi with both 2×2 MIMO and WiFi Direct.
It packs with 4000mAh battery with 30 charging adapter, which can charge 0 to 60% in 33 minutes, also goes 85% in an hour. The back logo glows in static, breathing, and strobing effects, or cycling through the spectrum color behaviour.
