Canon India expands its inkjet printer portfolio for home and office

Canon India launched six new inkjet printer models TS8070, TS5070, G4000, MB5470, MB5170 and iB4070 for home and office use. All products will be available across the country from starting first week of November.

New MAXIFY Series

ib4070-3The MAXIFY MB5470 and MB5170 are multifuctioned and launched for Rs. INR 22,495 and INR 16,495 respectively. The MAXIFY iB4170 is single function priced for INR 9,995. These new printers deliver ISO-compliant print speeds up to 24 images per minute (ipm) for black and white, and 15.5ipm for color. In maximum speed settings, users can expect speeds up to 32.5 pages per minute (ppm) in black-and-white, and 26.5ppm in color. All three printers support the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), which allows multi-device management and monitoring via popular fleet management applications such as Canon’s imageWARE Enterprise Management Console (iWEMC) and PrintFleet.

New PIXMA TS Series Features

pixma_ts8070The PIXMA TS8070 and TS5070 comes with direct printing features. The PIXMA TS8070 has 6-colour hybrid ink system which can provide high quality of photos and documents. It supports two new paper size 5” x 5”(12.7cmx12.7cm) (square) photo paper for Instagram-style photo printing, and standard business card sizes for easy creation of business cards.

 

The PIXMA TS8070 and TS5070 are designed for ease of setting up in a wireless environment. Both printers support the Wireless Direct protocol so that mobile devices can be connected easily without the use of a wireless router. With direct wireless connectivity, users can print from mobile phones and tablet PCs in out-of-home environments such as weddings and parties. The PIXMA TS8070 also supports NFC (Near Field Communications), with Android smartphone you can just tap to print.

PIXMA TS8070 costs Rs. 17,995 and PIXMA TS5070 is priced at Rs. 9,995.

PIXMA G4000 Features

g4000PIXMA G4000 is ink tank printer which is priced for Rs. 16,995. It comes with Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) allows users to feed up to 20-sheets of document originals for making copies of a multiple page document stack. Users can also choose to digitize the document images into PDF or JPEG formats and transfer the images to the PC. It has ID Card Copy feature, users can scan and copy both sides of an ID card easily while retaining the original ID card size. It can print wireless for Apple devices like Apple iPhones, iPads via Apple AirPrint. It can also print via Android devices. The printer can print 6,000 pages of black and white documents, and 7,000 pages of colour documents.
