Requirement:
My gadget or laptop to buy now is Apple Macbook Air 13-inch 2015 edition. The new Macbook Air comes with 13-inch display, 4GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, OS Yosemite with Intel Graphics 6000 GPU. First thing which came to my mind was check out retail store and later on ecommerce as the need was urgent. But the retail stores let me down as they have a heavy price tag. Next option came to check out the ecommerce website but search down via google first. As the top three portals of India includes Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal came on top as expected.
Search from ecommerce portals:
My initial search starts, Flipkart displayed the product for Rs. 74,230, Amazon priced for Rs. 74,650 where as Snapdeal put a decent price tag of Rs. 70,370. To make sure the pricing I tried double check using app Snapdeal gets an upper edge in loading and display thing faster, price was same.
I was checking for Macbook Air with the best deal what I can get with 256GB storage model. It gets tough, as there are too many ecommerce website and on retail store it was too costly. Somehow I got the best deal on Snapdeal with least price of Rs. 70,370. In addition to which Snapdeal also gave me 5% cash back offer on my card which lets to addition of roughly Rs. 3,500 more discount.
Customer Care Support:
I called the customer care support for the genuinity of the product and as the price was too less from other portals which gave me doubt to know why so cheap? Is it new product? Not defective one? Warranty support would be carried by Apple or not?
Connecting to customer care representative was easy rather than staying in queue and waiting for hours to hold the phone. As it was connected they convinced me that that product is genuine, if anything goes wrong they will replace the product completely, it cover Apple warranty. This made my mind and I was satisfied as a customer before purchasing.
Order and Delivery:
Lastly, I placed my order for new Macbook Air 2015 with 256GB storage through Snapdeal. It took them 3 days to deliver. I am happy that it was delivered on time and packaging was good with extra protection over the original Macbook box.
