Google making more and more Chromebooks!
Google has launched Xolo and Nexian Air Chromebooks in India today. Both of these have 11.6-inch IPS with 1366×768 pixels and also powered by a 1.8 GHz Rockchip 3288 Quad-core processor based on ARM Cortex-A17 CPU with ARM Mali-T764 GPU. Both Chromebooks have 2GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage with can be expanded to 64GB via microSD. The Nexian Air Chromebook has rugged splash-proof design and comes with an handle.
Commenting on the launch, Smita Hashim, Global Product Manager, Chrome OS said,
[notification type=”notification_info” ]When we introduced Chromebooks four years ago, we wanted to build a laptop for the way people  use  computers  today    always  fast,  easy  to  use,  and  secure  by  default.  Since launching Chromebooks in India, we’ve been working to ensure that Chromebooks work in an environment  where  connectivity  can  be  spotty,  and  many  people’s  first experiences  with technology are through a phone rather than a laptop.[/notification]
The Xolo Chromebook will be available on Snapdeal with an introductory price of Rs. 12,999 and the Nexian Air Chromebook will be available on Amazon.in for Rs. 12,999. Google said that they will soon launch Asus Chromebook Flip, Asus Chromebook C201 and Samsung Chromebooks in India in upcoming months.
