Google unveiled its new ‘Pixel series’ with two new smartphone Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, in the event in San Fransico. The Pixel 2 features a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 SoC and runs on the latest Android 8.0 (Oreo). It sports a 12.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Dual Pixel and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the other hand, Pixel 2 XL features a 6-inch Quad HD+ P-OLED Fullscreen 18:9 display, is also powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon SoC and runs on the same OS Android 8.0 (Oreo). The camera specification is same as the Pixel 2.
Both the device offers portrait shots with background blurs, from both the front and back camera. It also comes with unlimited full resolution photos and videos. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back and comes with Aluminum unibody with hybrid coating. Both the smartphone comes with IP67 certified, water and dust proof and comes with stereo front-firing speakers.
The Google Pixel 2 64GB version is priced at Rs. 61,000 while the 128GB version Rs. 70,000. The Pixel 2 XL 64GB version is priced at Rs. 73,000 while the 128GB version Rs. 82,000. The Google Pixel 2 phones will be available for pre-order in India from Flipkart online and on major retail stores from October 26th. The sale of Pixel 2 will go on from November 1st while the Pixel 2 XL will go on sale from November 15th.
