HTC J Butterfly with Android 4.4 KitKat and Waterproof Rating launched

HTC launched its latest smartphone HTC J Butterfly underhood Japanese carrier KDDI. The smartphone looks a lot like HTC One in specs but it is waterproof smartphone. HTC has tried new camera this time it is not Ultrapixel, they are back with 13-megapixel rear shooter and 5MP front shooter for selfie. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with 2GB RAM on a 5-inch Full HD display. It has 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with 2700mAh battery power. It also bundles with JBL earphones to enhance audio quality.

The HTC J Butterfly will be available in Rouge, Canvas and Indigo colours. No word on price and availability.
