As two days ago HTC One M9+ was announced, the smartphone features a technology inside known as MHL 2 – the first phone from HTC with this specification. MHL unchains your media from your smartphone or tablet to easily display videos, games, photos and more on a TV or monitor.

MHL is perhaps the most compelling wired connectivity standard today and delivers:

4K (Ultra HD) resolution
10W power charging
Enhanced audio (Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD)
Multi-display support (up to 4 displays)
