Infinix HOT 8 Launched: Triple rear cameras and 5000mAh battery at a Jaw-Dropping price of ₹6,999

Infinix is one of the few brands that has successfully brought the joy of multiple camera setup to an entry-level segment. The company follows this approach with the latest iteration of its ever so successful Hot 8 series. 

The Infinix Hot 8 now sports a massive 6.52-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display within a tall body stance through its 20:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by an Octa-core Helio P22 (12nm) chipset that’s coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.  

As expected, the smartphone receives the triple camera setup of 13MP (f/1.8) Primary, 2MP Secondary Depth Sensor and a tertiary low light sensor, while an 8MP (f/2.0) setup with magic LED flash on the front. The Camera includes features such as PDAF, Quad-LED Flash, Auto Scene recognition, AR Stickers, etc. The device runs a custom XOS 5.0 operating system that is based on Android 9.0 Pie which promises smooth visuals and effortless user experience at the same time. 

Massive screen size requires a massive battery, thus, Infinix has equipped this behemoth with a 5000mAh battery pack which includes the added benefit of a sophisticated AI-driven power management tools.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Sim 4G, 3.5mm Audio Jack, OTG, FM, etc. Additional features include a Triple-Slot sim tray (Dual Nano Sim + Micro SD), Dirac Sound System for better music playback and a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Pricing & Availability

The smartphone will be available in four colour options called the Quetzal Cyan, Cosmic Purple, Shark Grey and Midnight Black. The device is priced at ₹6,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant and will be exclusively available via Flipkart for sale starting on Rs. 6,999.
