iVOOMi brought its new smartphone named iVOOMi i2 Lite to the market. The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,499 and it comes with the latest features like Face Recognition. The iVOOMi i2 Lite also boasts a massive 4000mAh of battery. All these features make it a good competitor in the budget segment. Let’s see how the smartphone performs in our review period.

What iVOOMi i2 Lite offers?

The smartphone features a 5.45-inch HD screen with 720×1440 pixel resolution and 18:9 Incell FullView Display. It is equipped with a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera with Soft Flash and 8MP selfie camera with 4P Slim Lens. iVOOMi i2 Lite is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo OS and a 1.5GHz quad-core, MTK 6739 processor.

It runs on a 4000mAh battery with 2A fast charge and OTG support. The internal memory or RAM is 2GB and the internal storage or ROM, 16GB which is expandable up to 128GB. The iVOOMi i2 Lite, with 2GB RAM+16GB ROM.

Design and Display:

The design is almost the same as the iVOOMi i2, the build seems average as the body is made up to plastic only. The rear panel is possible and you’ll see the SIM card and MicroSD card slot.

The top edge has the 3.5mm aux port along with the microUSB port. The bottom has dual speaker grills while the right side of the edge has both volume and power buttons.
The 5.45-inch display offers average brightness on the screen, you can use it in the night but the in daylight it seems dull.

Performance:

The MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM offers decent performance with respect to the budget smartphone. The multitasking ability is acceptable and it handles apps efficiently.

The Gaming section is not great but one can enjoy the handy games like Subway Surfer and Candy Crush on the smartphone. Talking about the benchmark test, it scored 46224 in AnTuTu and 667/1825 in Geekbench test.

It supports 4G VoLTE and offers good connectivity to the users. We didn’t find any type of drop in our usage period. The Audio and Video section of the device is good but not the best in the range.

Camera and Battery:

The 13MP + 2MP Dual rear camera with soft flash gave some crisp and detailed daytime images. The photos captured during the daytime are mostly quite clear and has a good amount of details. The lowlight performance is not great though.

The front camera is of 5MP and it captures decent selfies on the daylight. The camera also has several modes which offer a good help for capturing images.

The 4000mAh of battery here offers a long battery life. As we cannot do much on the device, it can easily last up to 2-3 days with moderate usage. Even with our continuous video loop test, it lasted for 13+ hours.

Overview:

The iVOOMi i2 Lite is a good smartphone for pretty basic and budget users. At a price point of Rs 6499, it offers a huge battery life and acceptable performance to the users.
