OnePlus 6T is now Official with an In-Screen Fingerprint Scanner

A few months back OnePlus has announced its new OnePlus 6 in the market. The handset was a great upgrade from the old OnePlus 5T. After a lot of leaks and rumors, the Chinese giant has finally removed the curtains from it’s up to the minute OnePlus 6T. As its name suggests it is the successor to OnePlus 6 and offer even more for the price tag it carries. The major variation can be seen here in terms of design as this time it has a Teardrop notch in the front. So without making any delay let’s know more about its specifications and pricing.

At first peep, you may notice that there is no Fingerprint Scanner on either side because this time OnePlus has opted to go with an In-Screen Fingerprint Recognition solution. Other than its notch and secret visible Fingerprint Scanner rest of the design looks quite inspired by OnePlus 6. The handset comes powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-Core processor coupled with an Adreno 630 GPU. This time the base model of the device will be shipped with 6GB RAM+128GB ROM and the other two models with 8GB RAM+128GB ROM, 8GB RAM+256GB ROM are the same.

The device will be shipped with OxygenOS based on Android 9.0 Pie. Fortunately, the brand has bumped up the battery capacity to 3700mAh, however, at the same time headphone jack has been eliminated. Camera hardware is identical to OnePlus 6 though you can expect some minor improvements. The thickness of the device is at 8.2mm and it weighs at 185 grams.
