OnePlus X with 5-inch AMOLED display and 4G LTE launched with starting price Rs. 16,999

OnePlus comes with its third smartphone in India!

OnePlus XOnePlus just launched its OnePlus X, which was earlier being teased by the company. The smartphone comes with 5-inch FHD AMOLED display (1920×1080 pixels). It is powered by 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It sports 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF (0.2 secs) and 8MP front camera. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Oxygen OS 2.1 on top of it.

The OnePlus X has 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB. It supports dual SIM with 4G LTE connectivity. It packs with 2525mAh battery capacity.  It has a brushed anodized metal frame and will come in Onyx variant with glass back and limited edition ceramic variant. It comes with additional button on left to switch between No notifications, Priority Notifications and All Notifications which was earlier seen in OnePlus Two. The ceramic variant weigh 168gm, where as Onyx weigh 130gm.

Commenting on the launch, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, said,

The OnePlus X Onyx variant will be available for Rs. 16,999 and limited edition Ceramic version will be available for Rs. 22,999. Currently Ceramic variant will be 10,000 units only. One Plus X Onyx version will go on sale exclusively on Amazon.in through invites from November 5th and the Ceramic version will be available through Ceramic-specific invites starting November 24th. The company also said that from December it will go for weekly open sale and also said that the smartphone will be manufactured locally in Foxconn’s Sri City facility in Andhra Pradesh.
