Worldwide leader in smartphones Samsung has officially announced the successor of Galaxy Camera by the name Galaxy Camera 2. The upgrade includes new design, faster processor, double the RAM and storage, newer Android version and NFC connectivity. Samsung will be showcasing the camera at CES in Las Vegas this week.
Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 has a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD screen and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS which is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal memory (2.8GB user accessible) which is expandable by up to 64GB via microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 comes with a 16.3-megapixel, 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS sensor and 21x optical zoom. It runs on a Li-on 2000mAh battery and comes with free Dropbox storage of 50GB.
Software features of the camera include Tag & Go, Photo Beam, Remote Viewfinder, Smart Mode Suggest, Selfie Alarm, Beauty Face, Multi Motion Video, Story Album, Paper Artist, Xtremera and ChatOn. It also features the complete suite of Google services, such as Maps, Hangouts, YouTube, Play Books and Newsstand etc. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth.
