Samsung’s most awaited smartphone announced!
Samsung announced its new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S5 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 in Barcelona. The smartphone is loaded with some good hardware specs which may lead this smartphone to be a huge milestone for Samsung. Samsung Galaxy S5 runs on 5.1-inch full HD Super AMOLED screen with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The smartphone has heartbeat of new 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801, which is the best processor in current market.
Samsung Galaxy S5 runs on 2GB RAM with onboard storage of 16GB and 32GB optional which can be expandable up to 64GB with microSD. It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, has BSI Sensor can shoot HDR (Rich content) and 4k video recording. It also has 2.1-megapixel front camera. Samsung claims that it has world’s fastest auto focus speed up to 0.3 seconds, with some cool features like Selective focus, Virtual Tour Shot and many more features.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is water proof and dust proof with IP67 ratings. The smartphone has finger scanner for secure biometric screen locking feature and mobile payments. It has S Health 3.0 for maintaining diet chart, exercise records and heart rate monitor. It packs with 2800mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode which will turn the phone black and white, and minimize battery consumptions by shutting down unnecessary features.
It also has Download Booster, this technology enhances download speed on Wi-Fi and LTE simultaneously. Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available in Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold colours. The smartphone will go on sale from April 2014, but there is no word on pricing yet.
