Samsung unveiled a host of wearable devices that complement its flagship S-series. They launched their wireless earbud called as Samsung Galaxy Buds and launched their newest smartwatch and smart band.
Samsung Galaxy Buds
The Korean giant showcased their latest take on the Apple earpods through the introduction of Samsung Galaxy Buds. These wireless earbuds are light and small, yet offer a playback time of 5 hours. The charging case can additionally charge the galaxy buds several times over. The case comes with build in wireless charging support that can be juiced up using an S10 too. The buds come with Bixby native support that lets you do several tasks using the voice support. Connectivity includes a Bluetooth 5.0 with, USB-C for charging, sensors include an on-board Accelerometer, Proximity, Hall, Touch, Ear on/off detection. It packs a 5.8pi Dynamic Driver, optimized by AKG.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Fit
Samsung also announced the latest iteration of fitness wearables – the Galaxy Watch Active and the Galaxy Fit. Gone is the rotating bezel and the hefty weight, the smartwatch flaunts a new design and the ability to monitor blood pressure. The Watch Active comes with a built in GPS and a 5 ATM water resistant certification to withstand harsh conditions and difficult terrain. Samsung offers a large collection of over 60,000 watch faces within the smart wearable app
The Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit is a water-resistant fitness band that houses a colour AMOLED display. The device can recognize the activity this time around and comes with built-in heart rate and sleep monitoring.
Price and Availability
The Galaxy Buds will cost $130 and is estimated to start shipping by March 8.
The Galaxy Fit range will start from $99 while the Galaxy Watch Active will retail starting $199. Both will be available for purchase from March 8.
