Videocon launched new smartphone with Panic button!
Videocon Mobiles launched Cube 3 (V50JL), which is a 4G VoLTE smartphone. It has 5-inch HD display, powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It sports 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5MP front camera. It has dual SIM support.
The Cube 3 is pre-loaded with SOS-Be Safe emergency response app, Walk with ME and reach on time features. Walk with ME sends location of a user at regular intervals to emergency contacts and Reach On Time sends an alert if a user hasn’t reached a particular destination at the set time.  ‘Panic Button’ feature will be across its entire smartphone portfolio according to government in India from January 1, 2017.
The company recently partnered with Reliance Jio with Jio welcome offer that gives with free data, voice calls, SMS and host of Jio apps till December 31st, 2016.
