Xiaomi just announced the newest variant of their Mi Mix 3 smartphone with the added 5G support and few minor updates at MWC 2019. Changes include a Snapdragon 855 7nm SoC that supports QUALCOMM X50 5G modem bands. Display stays the same coming in at 6.4-inch – OLED panel with a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. Specs include a ceramic back, hybrid cooling unit, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a larger 3800mAh battery with added support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ fast charging and wireless charging support.
It comes with a dual camera setup on the front and back that employs a 12MP wide-angle sensor and a 12MP telephoto lens on the rear and 24MP+2MP sensor on the front.
Unlike other 5G launches, Xiaomi didn’t hold on releasing the pricing of the device. The Mi Mix 3 5G will be available in May starting at 599 euros (Rs 48,000 approximately) and would come in blue and black colour variants.
