Xiaomi has put a decent laptop with such a good price tag!
Xiaomi introduce its new tablet in China by CEO Lei Jun. Xiaomi MiPad comes with 7.9-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 2048×1536 pixels at 326 ppi. The screen has sharp display like Apple Retina iPad. The Xiaomi MiPad runs on Android 4.4 with MiUi ROM.
The key specification of Xiaomi MiPad is it has 4+1 core Nvidia Tegra K1 SOc ARM Cortex A15 processor clocked at 2.2GHz with additional 192-core Kepler GPU. It runs on 2GB LPDDR3 RAM with onboard storage of 16GB or 64GB optional which is expanded up to 128GB.
The Xiaomi MiPad tablet sports 8-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s BSI Sensor and can record video up to 1080p. It also has 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.0. MiPad comes with 6,700mAh battery and will be available in Black, Red, White, Blue, Green and Yellow colours. The tablet 16GB variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 14,268) and 64GB variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs. 16,174).
