Amazon announced Kindle Oasis which is its flagship reader. It comes with 300 PPI on 6-inch display which was earlier seen on Kindle Voyage. This is the 8th Generation of Kindle, it comes with 60% more LED which makes it the brightest among other models. It is the thinnest and lightest Kindle with 3.4mm thinness and 131 grams in weight. It comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support and 4GB internal storage. It will get a 3G variant with rest specifications.

It has new design with hand grip that has physical turn buttons to turn pages. it comes with the orientation rotation for Left and right hander. It has dual battery system with free leather charging cover which promises to last for 8 weeks (wireless off).

The Kindle Oasis is coming in Black colour with leather covers in Black, Merlot, or Walnut finish for Rs. 23,999 in India for the WiFi variant and the WiFi + 3G variant costs Rs. 27,999. It is now available for on Amazon.in.
