LG G5: A smartphone which can challenge the DSLR in real world

Is LG G5’s dual camera merely a gimmick or special? Let’s find out

LG has always made its flagship ‘G’ series special. Be it the placement of power toggle and volume buttons on the back, use of laser autofocus and more. The G5 is brand’s latest flagship, and it comes with top-end specifications such as the quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, 5.3-inch Quad HD always-on display, 3D Arc Glass, 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 4G LTE connectivity and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The LG G5 sports a 16MP rear camera, with  laser auto focus, dual-tone flash, and 4K video recording. There’s also an 8MP secondary camera at the rear with 135-degree wide-angle lens. And the front camera is also 8MP for taking selfies. Now the question arises WHY two rear cameras? Answer is quite simple –  it helps to click wide angle pictures with the click of a button, which we will explain in the post.

Here you can see the area covered by LG G5 is incredible and you can still check the image quality, which hasn’t turn grainy.

This picture is clicked using wide angle camera (both the cameras are used). Both image 4 and 5 images are taken from same place and you can find the major difference by using the wide angle option.

LG G5 takes so real pictures that sometime it makes us think that the phone packs in so much potential in such a compact form factor.

The wide angle capabilities play their part and helps to capture the entire building very easily.

Using zoom function also lets you take the good picture to some extent.
