Xiaomi launched its two new smartphones Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite at an event. Both the new smartphones will be running on Android One.
Mi A2 features a 6-inch 18:9 1080p LCD display, Snapdragon 660 Chipset, a 12-MP and 20-MP dual camera set up along with a 20-MP selfie camera with a flash. It has a USB Type-C port and a 3,000mAh battery. The Mi A2 is available with up to 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.
The Mi A2 Lite is a smaller and cheaper variant with a 5.84-inch 19:9 1080p LCD display with a notch. It is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC, 64GB Storage and RAM at 4GB RAM. It sports a 12-MP and 5-MP dual cameras along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. the smartphone houses a 4,000mAh battery and microUSB charging port.
The Mi A2 will cost €249 (approx. Rs 20,000) for a device with 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage, €279 (approx. Rs 22,500) for 4GB/64GB, and €349 ( approx. Rs 28,000) for 6GB/128GB. The Mi A2 Lite has a 3GB/32GB version for €179 (approx Rs 14,500) and a 4GB/64GB model for €229 (approx Rs 18,500). The Mi A2 Lite variant will not launch in India.
