BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X launched in India starting from Rs. 24,999

BlackBerry introduced two new smartphones named BlackBerry Evolve and BlackBerry Evolve X in India. Both the smartphone features a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 1080p resolution,  18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. They also run on the same Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box and is backed by 4000mAh of battery.

BlackBerry Evolve is a mid-range smartphone powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset with an Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone sports a vertically stacked dual-camera setup on the back with a 13MP primary and 13MP secondary sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP resolution snapper with tetra cell technology.

BlackBerry Evolve X is an affordable flagship smartphone and is equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.2 GHz with an Adreno 512 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expandable via microSD card slot. It sports a 12MP + 13MP dual-camera setup on the back, the primary 12MP sensor is coupled with a f/1.8 aperture, the secondary 13MP sensor is coupled with a f/2.6 aperture. It also has a 16MP  selfie camera with a Portrait mode and Faces Unlocking. For the sound section, this smartphone comes with Dolby Atmos support to provide users with a 3D surround sound experience.

Both BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X come with Type-C support which also offers Quick Charging. Apart from it, they support 4G VoLTE and are Dual Sim smartphones. They also support DTEK by BlackBerry, BlackBerry Hub and other services which offers a secure Android experience.

BlackBerry Evolve

The BlackBerry Evolve has been priced at Rs.24,990 in India while the BlackBerry Evolve X is priced at Rs.34,990. Optiemus Infracom will begin selling the Evolve X in India starting from the end of this month, exclusively via Amazon India. The budget smartphone BlackBerry Evolve will be available until mid-September.

BlackBerry is also offering launch offers include Rs.3,950 cashback for Reliance Jio subscribers and 5% instant cashback on EMI transactions made using ICICI Bank credit cards.
