Nikon announced new Nikon Z7, Nikon Z6 and NIKKOR Z lenses

Nikon introduced two new cameras in the market named Nikon Z7 and Nikon Z6. The Nikon Z7 is a mirrorless camera which features a full-frame 45.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and an Expeed 6 image processor. While the Nikon Z6 is a budget model featuring a 24.5-megapixel full-frame sensor with 12 fps continuous shooting, 100-51,200 native ISO. Nikon also launched three native NIKKOR Z-mount lenses with the Z7; a 24-70mm with f.4.0, 35mm with f/1.8 and 50mm with f/1.8.

The new Nikon Z7 offers an ISO range of 64-25,000, a 493-point autofocus system, 9fps continuous shooting and ability to record 4K UHD videos.  It sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD OLED panel and a 3.69 million dot high-res OLED electronic viewfinder. The camera also comes with a built-in 5 axis vibration reduction to stabilized photo and video shoots. Nikon Z7 has new body system dubbed “Z-mount” and it can capture 120fps footage with audio.

Nikon Z6

On the other hand, Nikon Z6 offers a 24.5-megapixel full-frame sensor with 100-51,200 native ISO, 273 autofocus points, 12 fps continuous shooting, and the ability to shoot 4K video. It comes with a full frame sensor readout at up to 30 fps and 120fps at 1080p. The camera can also capture 10-bit 4K video with Nikon’s N-log color profile. Nikon also introduced a Z-Mount for Nikon Z6 which has a 16mm flange distance, a third of that on the F-mount, and a 55 mm diameter.

Nikon Z7 is priced at $3,400 (Rs. 2,38,500 approx.) for the body-only configuration. And if you want it as a kit along with new Nikkor Z 24-70 f/4 S lens, it’ll cost you $4,000 (Rs. 2,79,000 approx.). While the Nikon Z6 is priced at $2,000 (Rs. 1,40,000 approx.) and it’ll cost you $2,600(Rs. 1,82,000 approx.) with the 24-70mm f/4 kit Z-Mount lens. The FTZ adapter for F-Mount lenses will cost an additional $250 (Rs. 17,500 approx.). Both the cameras will be available from September 2018.
