OnePlus has just unveiled its latest player in the market known as the OnePlus 6T. As its name suggests it is the successor to the OnePlus 6. In case you don’t know it was leaks and rumors for a long but finally, it’s now official in India. The device comes with some great improvements inside out, however, basic things like design and hardware is almost the same. The official specs and pricing are out now so let’s know more about this smart device.
The biggest change one will first notice is the bigger screen. OnePlus 6T has a 6.41(inch) Full HD+ Optic AMOLED Display with a tiny Notch. This new panel contributes to around 86% of Screen-to-Body ratio and it has been protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The performance is quite identical to that of the OnePlus 6. The camera segment also looks familiar as not much has been revamped here. Additionally, the device comes with Smart Boost tech which helps in improving app open speeds.
OnePlus 6T comes with OxygenOS 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The second major refinement from the brand is an In-Screen Fingerprint Scanner. The device doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack this time and instead of that OnePlus has a USB Type-C solution for audio. The battery capacity of OnePlus 6T has also improved by a small margin and is kept at 3700mAh this time. Dash Charge tech is still there and delivers super fast charging.
