HMD Global kickstarted the MWC 2019 with the announcement of the Nokia 210 feature
phone. This minimalistic device aims to revitalize the brands strong forte that is a solid built and sturdy construction. The brand is selling this device with a tagline “Put the internet in your pocket”.
All considered Nokia seems to have stumbled across a market captured by the
likes of the Jio feature phone. It sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display and dual sim support but
misses out on 4G support and comes with just 2G network compatibility.
The Nokia 210 runs on S30+ OS that is powered by the MediaTek MT6260A chipset. It
packs a 16MB internal memory for some apps and games that can be downloaded from the
app store. Camera unit comes with a VGA rear sensor with a complimentary LED flash. The company claims the phone can offer a talk time of 18 hours and a standby time up to 20
days.
The Nokia 210 comes in Charcoal, Red and Grey colour scheme and is priced at $35
(Rs.2,480). The smartphone will begin shipping from early next week in select markets
across the world.
