Samsung just announced its Galaxy M40 smartphone in India. The device stands fourth in the Galaxy M series which is the company`s line up of smartphones targeting millennials. Known for its exclusivity towards the online market the brand has clocked some pretty good numbers in past.
There wasn’t much speculation regarding the spec sheet of the M40, as a lot of key features were confirmed by the company prior to its launch.
The display on the Galaxy M40 is a big 6.3-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel that Samsung calls the Infinity O display. The Galaxy M40 is set to be the first M-device to get a Qualcomm chipset as opposed to the Exynos processors. It’s powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 processor that is clocked at 2GHz paired with an Adreno 612 GPU and 6GB of onboard RAM. Internal storage is kept at 128GB which can be expandable up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy M40 also gets the triple camera setup of 32MP (f 1.7) + 8MP (f 2.2) + 5MP (f 2.2) which is coupled with a front camera of 16MP (f 2.0). Powering this device is a 3500 mAh lithium-ion battery with a 15W Fast charger in the box.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 will be coming in Seawater Blue and Midnight Blue colours for Rs. 19,990 and will be available across Amazon.in from June 19th.
