Oppo A9 makes its way to the Indian market. The company launched the mid-range smartphone for a price tag of ₹15,490. The smartphone represents the dependable range of smartphone from the brand which directly competes with the newly launched Redmi K-series and Realme X smartphone.
In regards to the specs, it packs in a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with Dew Drop-shaped notch display that renders a 90.7% screen-to-body ratio. Its elegant 3D Gradient Body design comes in two colour schemes called the Marble Green and Fluorite Purple. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM & 128GB storage. It runs a custom version of the company`s own Colour 6.0 OS with Android Pie underneath. It comes with a 16MP rear camera with AI scene recognition along with a 2MP secondary camera and a front-facing 16MP unit. Oppo A9 claims to deliver stunning shots with its AI-powered Dazzle Color Mode and Ultra Night 2.0. As expected, the battery life comes through a 4020mAh pack which sadly misses out on any fast charging tech.
The device will be available across all major retail chains and e-commerce websites starting 20 July.
