Apple just updated its MacBook Air series with a new Magic keyboard, updated 256GB base storage option and a revised price. This new MacBook receives up to twice the CPU speed and 80% faster graphics boost from the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors.
What’s changed is the new Magic Keyboard is crafted from a completely redesigned scissor mechanism that ensures comfortable typing experience over extended periods of time. Besides these updates, the 13-inch MacBook maintains the infamous True Tone Retina display, Touch ID and all-day battery life. The design still features a unibody build wedged out from a 100 per cent recycled aluminium offered in three finishes as before called the – Gold, Silver and Space Grey.
Pricing too is revised as the MacBook Air now starts at ₹ 92,990 for the Core i3 + 256GB Storage variant, while the Core i5 + 512GB version costs ₹ 96,510. The device will be available in the US from the next week and will soon be available for purchase across Apple’s Authorised retail outlets in India.
Updated iPad Pro
Alongside the MacBook Air, Apple also decided to update their iPad Pro with latest technological titbits, like a new A12Z Bionic SoC, an Ultra-Wide Rear Camera and a LiDAR Scanner for enhanced depth sensing. To top this all off, Apple has also added the support for trackpad via iPad OS 13.4 that could be paired with their new Magic keyboard accessory.
Regarding the pricing, the 11-inch iPad Pro now starts at ₹71,900 for Wi-Fi model while the cellular version costs ₹85,900. The 12.9-inch model, on the other hand, starts at ₹89,990 for the Wi-Fi only variant, while the cellular model starts at ₹1,03,900. Accessories like the Magic Keyboard will be available for purchase starting May and will be priced at ₹27,900 for the 11-inch model and ₹31,900 for the 12.9-inch one.
Mac Mini with Updated Base Capacity
Besides the MacBook Air, the company also updated its Mac Mini with double the storage capacity. The new Mac Mini 256GB is priced at ₹ 74,900 while the 512GB version will set you back by ₹ 1,04,900.
