100 Plus ways to interact with Alexa in a Day

Work from home (WFH) is becoming normal for us during COVID-19 Pandemic days. We usually are not habitual of it so we get tense and frustrate while working simultaneously non-stop, with no fixed time limit for work. In these situations either we can listen to something or interact with someone is the best option – both can be done on Alexa devices as they are getting smarter every day. There are many Alexa devices in the market which includes the Echo devices, 3rd Gen Firestick TV, FireTV Cube and you can also have it on 3rd party Alexa supportable devices. In a recent update you can now access Alexa through iOS devices too. Currently, we are using Echo Dot 4th, Gen, as our Alexa Device, but all the commands below can be done on any Alexa device. 

Starting the day with giving commands to Alexa for setting an alarm, date and time that can be done in multiple following ways

1. Normal Alarm: “Alexa, set an alarm for 5 AM“ or “Alexa, wake me up at 5 in the morning“

2. Set music alarm: “Alexa, wake me up to [artist, song, genre, playlist or album] at 5 AM“ or “Alexa, set an alarm to Summer of 69“ or “Alexa, wake me up to Sun FM on TuneIn“

3. Repeating Alarm: “Alexa, set a repeating alarm for weekdays at 5 AM

4. Music Timer: “Alexa, set a 15-minute timer to “Here I am” or my Playlist“

5. Ask the date: “Alexa, what’s the date?“

6. Ask the time: “Alexa, what time is it?“

7. Set multiple timers: “Alexa, set a second timer for 15 minutes“

8. Create named Timer: “Alexa, set a baking timer for 20 minutes“

9. Ask when the next alarm is: “Alexa, when’s my next alarm?“
