POCO has officially launched the POCO X7 Pro 5G, the latest addition to its X7 series, in India as promised. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch 120Hz LTPS OLED display with an impressive peak brightness of up to 3200 nits, ensuring vibrant visuals.
The POCO X7 Pro 5Gis among the first smartphones to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC, complemented by a 5000mm² stainless steel VC cooling system and an ultra-thin 3D IceLoop system for enhanced thermal management. It comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, delivering exceptional performance. The phone runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 out of the box and includes advanced AI-powered features like AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Interpreter, and AI Subtitles. POCO promises 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
Design-wise, the POCO Yellow variant stands out with its vegan leather finish, while the device boasts IP66 + IP68 dust and water resistance along with IP69 support. The smartphone is equipped with dual rear cameras, including a 50MP Sony LTY-600 main sensor with an f/1.5 aperture and OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it houses a 20MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The POCO X7 Pro 5G is powered by a massive 6550mAh carbon-silicon battery, the largest ever in a POCO phone. It supports 90W fast charging, capable of charging the device to 100% in just 45 minutes. The battery is designed for longevity, promising up to 1600 charge cycles over four years.
Available in POCO Yellow, Nebula Green, and Obsidian Black, the POCO X7 Pro 5G is priced at ₹27,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model and ₹29,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Sales start on Flipkart from January 14th.
