Micromax has introduced a new budget smartphone, the Bolt A24 which is now listed on the company’s site. Micromax has not revealed the pricing and availability of Bolt A24.
Micromax Bolt A24 runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) compatible. It comes with 2.8-inch TFT display with 240×320 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A5 Spreadtrum SC6820 processor and 256MB of RAM.
The Bolt A24 has 100MB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable up to 16GB with microSD card. It sports a 0.3MP rear camera with flash.
Micomax Bolt A24 has battery capacity which can deliver up to 4 hours of talktime and up to 150 hours of standby time.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS, and EDGE. The smartphone also comes preloaded with apps such as M!Live, Bubble X Slice, Hike and Opera Mini.
The company is touting the Bolt A24 smartphone’s multilingual support and notes that the device supports 20 regional languages including Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Konkani, Kashmiri, Manipuri, Marathi, Punjabi, Kannada, Oriya, Tamil, and Telugu.
