Asus MemoPad 8 with 8-inch display and thinnest 4G LTE Tablet

Asus remodeling its MemoPad!

Asus MeMO Pad 8Asus launched its updated version of Asus MemoPad 8 with latest hardware at Computex 2014. It comes with 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor running on 8-inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 1200×1920 pixel resolution.

The tablet comes with Android 4.4 KitKat with flavor of Zen UI on it. The MemoPad 8 runs on 2GB RAM with 16GB onboard storage which is expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixel front facing camera.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS. It has 15.2Wh Li-Po battery which can last up to 9 hours. Asus has also given SonicMaster for better sound output. The tablet will be available in White, Black, Pink and Blue colours. It would be available in Q3 2014 and no word on pricing yet.
