Android based TV?
VU, the California-based luxury television company, has announced their launch of 32 inch Android based TV exclusively on Flipkart. The advanced Android TV offers all entertainment features on the fastest growing platform with facility to get everything on user’s 4-5 inch screen on mobile on the full size TV. With up to 50 built-in applications and direct access to the web, the users can enter a world of content and gaming by streaming their favourite movies, TV shows, and sporting events on their TV. The Vu Android TV operates on the latest Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS which offers a superior user experience.
As far as the specifications are concerned the TV is equipped with a quad core Cortex A9 architecture which delivers speeds up to 2 GHz. On the graphics side the Android TV has an quad core AmLogic S802 and Octa core ARM Mali 450 GPU which is well compliant with OpenGL ES 1.1/2.0 and OpenVG 1.1. The Android TV is fabricated with 2 GB DDR3 RAM for fluid experience. The TV has 8 GB of in built storage. The TV also boasts of it 4K x 2K multi format resolution. It has support for 3D HDMI and HDMI 1.4b displays. The TV has capability of CVBS 480i/576i standard definition output as well. On the connectivity front the Android TV comes in two variants. The first one sports 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz WiFi (Broadcom AP6210 module), and the second one has Dual Band 2.4 GHz/5.8 GHz, WiFi (optional) with Broadcom AP6330 module. Both the variants are equipped with hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 and 10/100 M Ethernet port. The TV runs on the Android KitKat 4.4.2.
This complete entertainment TV offers every user to stay connected with their friends using connectivity options like Skype, Facebook, Youtube and Miracast. Users can also download apps from the Google Play Store to the Vu Android TV and have complete access to them right through the TV. Not only that, the Android TV also provides a truly immersive gaming experience with a built in Amlogic Quadcore S802 graphics chipset. From playing movies, TV shows to controlling the TV via mobile phones and tablets, Android TV takes the TV viewing experience to a whole new level.
