Yahoo! Inc., the big company in e-media, released few new and major updates for Flickr and mobile. A more intelligent Search tool has been embedded and a set of features that make accessing Flickr easier to organize, find and share photos and videos across devices. This brings a seamless, unified experience for over 112 million users, and allows them to more efficiently manage over 11 billion photos on Flickr today.

These tools coupled with our advanced image recognition technology will give our community the power to not only access those special moments from their iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV, Android, or on the web, but to uncover the ones that they thought were lost forever.” [/notification]
Three new significant components of this launch include:
- Up-loaders: You may now upload half a million pictures in one go from the desktop, hard drive, iPhoto, cellphone and more. The new Yahoo up-loader for Mac, and Windows and the new Auto uploader for the mobile device. Intelligence is, the uploader will upload the pictures automatically in high resolution and mark them as private. Also, it removes the duplicates.
- Camera Roll in the Cloud: Navigation is made easy, you may navigate through thousand thousands of photos and videos in new interface, which is supported by advanced image recognition technology. Also, organize photos automatically over 60 categories categories (landscapes, animals, black and white, portraits, etc.). Plus, you may now browse your camera roll by date. Download photos in bulk, share privately via link, email, Instagram, Facebook with one swipe.
- Unified Search Experience: Flickr’s advanced search technology and powerful computer vision algorithms also provide a smarter and faster search experience. Searching imges of specific items, places, or search by holiday, date or location. Amazing filters let you filter the image using color, size, orientation, and panoramic shots with hues.
