Acer One with Windows 8.1 launched in India which starts for Rs. 19,999

Acer OneThe new device from Acer has been launched; The Acer one S1001. This is the latest 2 in 1 hybrid device launched on amazon last month and now it is ready for sale in retail outlets as well. The beauty of this device is that it can be used as a tablet as well as a laptop since the latch-less keyboard has built in 500 GB HDD. With a 10 inch of display this device is powered by a quad core Intel Atom z3735f processor and has a 2 MP rear and VGA front cam included into it.

Acer One_1It has 1TB of storage and a 1yr free subscription of OneDrive. The tablet comes with Dual Speakers. These are the modes which are available to be used:

Pad mode: Fits perfectly in your hand. You can use this device as a tablet and load your favorite web pages, games, or watch movies.

Notebook mode – Convert it into a fully functional laptop with keyboard. Precise and beautiful keys for your work. Easy to use and handy as well.

Display mode – Present your proposal or broadcast a video conference, share photos or movies with others, offers a large size of photo frame.

Tent mode – The perfect mode when you need to use it in narrow space.

Commenting on the launch, S Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India said,

We decided to leverage our strong retail presence in order to reach out to consumers who are present in Tier 2 & 3 cities, smaller towns and rural markets.[/notification]

  • Battery: 6000mAh

The Acer One comes in two variants of RAM. 1GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 19.999 and the 2GB variant costs Rs. 21,999. Now available in retail stores as well.
