Alcatel on rampage!
Alcatel, a French global telecommunications equipment company, unveiled its latest devices for the OneTouch POP S series at the MWC 2014 by the name of Alcatel OneTouch POP S3, Alcatel OneTouch POP S7 and Alcatel OneTouch POP S9. All the devices of S series will support the blazing fast LTE Category 4.
The Alcatel OneTouch POP S9 is the largest among all three devices with a large 6-inch display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The 6-inch phablet is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon MSM8926 processor that clocked at 1.2GHz clock speed. The RAM is 1GB while the internal storage is 8GB and can be expanded further up to 32GB with an extra MicroSD card.
Alcatel OneTouch POP S7 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus while the secondary camera is a 2MP camera. The device comes with NFC, Bluetooth, GPS, a MicroUSB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, WLAN support and a 3,400mAh battery.
POP S9 will launch in Europe and Asia in March, while the device will be available in USA in the second half of the year and the price tag is EUR219.
