Alcatel Announces Firefox based Fire C at MWC 2014

Firefox trying hard!

Alcatel OneTouch Fire CAlcatel, a French global telecommunications equipment company, unveiled its latest device for the Firefox OS based series at the MWC 2014 by the name of Alcatel OneTouch Fire C, Alcatel OneTouch Fire S and Alcatel OneTouch Fire E.

Alcatel One Touch Fire – TCL Alcatel announced as much as four new devices including a Tablet powered by Firefox OS. Alcatel One Touch Fire C features a 4.5-inch HGVA display offering a resolution of 960×540 pixels and with a 314ppi, the image was clear and crisp, the colors are vibrant.

The device is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs on Firefox OS 1.3. It sports a 4.5-inch WVGA display .The RAM memory associated with Fire C is 512MB while the internal storage is 4GB expandable with a MicroSD card.

It has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus while the secondary camera is a 2MP standard camera. The device comes with NFC, Bluetooth, GPS, a MicroUSB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, WLAN support and a 1,300mAh battery.

The Alcatel One Touch Fire C is due to come out in the second half of the year at a price around Euro 59.
