Apple introduced the all-new iOS 12 in the WWDC 2018 event. The new Apple iOS 12 features a ton of updates starting from the apps, notifications, Animoji’s to performance. Let’s look at the major updates to understand what iOS 12 is really offering to the users.

The new and updated Augmented Reality (AI based) app are on fire. Apple iOS 12 comes with tons of AR-based apps with the help of developers like LEGO and Adobe. All the files are in USDZ format to work in all the places. The AR Apps helps to create a virtual image and then use it anywhere. Apart from it, the Measure App measures the object with great precision just with the help of AR.
Photos:
The new updates photos come with a lot of features like- Search Suggestions which allows you to search photos having similar persons, places or occasions. The New Tabs like Memories, For you, Highlighted Photos, Share The Album and many more. Users can also directly share the photos with the persons who are in them and they can share back.
Siri and Shortcut App:
Now Siri comes with different shortcuts, proactive suggestions, and one phrase orders. You can also add the customized shortcuts as per your need. Siri learns the patterns with your usage and offers the required suggestion on the lock screen itself. The shortcut app is linked with Siri which offers a lot of premade shortcuts and library details.
News, Stocks, iBook and Voice Memo App:
All the three apps have a newly designed interface. The News and Stock are linked with each other to offers business news in the stock app itself along with the personalized feed. The News app has Browse tab, Personalized Feed, and Hand-Picked column. Both apps are on iPad too with a new sidebar. iBook is now renamed to Apple Books and supports eBooks and Audio Books.
Do Not Disturb Mode, Screen Time and Usage:
The all-new three features of Apple iOS 12 are some of the most needed things for day to day life. The updated Do Not Disturb Mode offers better and upgraded solutions to focus. Users will get a group Notifications based on the subject, group, and priority. Group Notifications can be helpful to control overs general notifications. Screen Time offers weekly analysis reports and apps usage time. With the Usage feature, one can really control the app limit, users will get a reminder if they cross the time limit.
Message and FaceTime:
The updates apps offer new Animoji’s and Tongue Detection. The new very own personalized Memoji is creative and fun to use. The camera usage in the message app also offers dozens of customizations. Facetime app now supports Group Facetime from 2-32 people simultaneously. The Facetime features can be directly used from the group message.
