Aquaris E4.5 and E5 Ubuntu Edition smartphones launched in India for Rs. 11999 and Rs. 13499

First Ubuntu smartphones in India!

Aquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5 UbuntuAquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5 Ubuntu Edition launched in India and will go for sale through Snapdeal. The Aquaris E4.5 comes with 4.5-inch qHD display and Aquaris E5 comes with 5-inch HD display. Both are clocked at 1.3GHz quad-core processors, support Dual SIM and 3G connectivity.

Scopes available on the European Editions along with new ones created especially with Indian users in mind. Some of the new Scopes on offer include Zomato, Star Plus, Zee TV, Eros Now, NDTV and Times of India.

Commenting on the launch, German Lopez, COO of Spanish handset manufacturer BQ, said,

The Aquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5 Ubuntu Editions will be available in Black colour for Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 13,499, respectively. Both the smartphones will go sale from end of August on Snapdeal.
