Arya launched its first smartphone Arya Z2 by well-known brand Salora. The Arya Z2 is available in Black colour for Rs. 6,999 on Amazon.in. The smartphone was launched few days back in India.
Design
The Arya Z2 has power button in right and volume rocker key on left. It has 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front facing camera. The back of the body is Matt finish and speakers are present on bottom side of back panel. It has micro USB port and 3.5mm jack at the top. It comes with a LED on top for notification. It comes with Dual SIM support and both supports 3G connectivity. It comes with removable battery and expandable storage via microSD.
Hardware and Software
Arya Z2 has 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels. It has 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek 6582A processor powered by Mali 400 GPU. It has 1GB and 4GB internal storage memory. It comes with 1800mAH battery capacity. It comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat running out of the box. The smartphone comes with Accleration sensor, G-Sensor, E-compass and Proximity sensors.
In software it doesn’t have many bloat wares but preloaded with Amazon store, Amazon Kindle, Amazon Appstore and torch. Even Google apps are not installed so if you need install what you like. It comes with Stock UI feel and has Google Keyboard as default. It has simple digital clock in home page and a big weather widget which has nice graphics and tells prediction of next three days.
Camera
The smartphone comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash which can be interpolated to 13MP and has Sony BSI sensor, whereas the front is a 2MP camera which can be interpolated to 5MP. It comes with few modes like Panorama, Live Photo, Face Beauty and Normal mode. It has voice capture mode which is added feature to say Capture and Cheese to click the photos. It captures good image in day light and in night it is not bad. It supports HD video recording too.
Performance
The Antutu benchmark of Arya Z2 is 16818 which actually pretty decent. The Quadrant benchmark of smartphone is 7112 which good too.
Gizmo Verdict
Loudspeaker does play good music but ear phones are not up to expectation. Battery works moderately and with the price point it is a good smartphone to purchase. Silcare will be looking all repairs and warranty, so don’t worry for after sales service support too. Check the video review too.
