Asus brings it Tango project smartphone!
Asus brings Zenfone AR in India, it was earlier showcased in CES 2017. The smartphone will be compatible with both Tango AR platform and Google’s Daydream VR platform. This is a second smartphone under Tango project after Lenovo Phab 2 Pro.
It has 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440×2560 pixels. It is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor and comes with 8GB RAM variant in India. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Zen UI on top and 128GB internal storage. It sports 23MP rear camera with motion tracking camera and a depth sensing camera which will support Tango’s AR capabilities.
The smartphone has 8MP front camera. It has dual speakers, new 5-magnet speaker and NXP smart AMP. It also has DTS headphone virtual 7.1 Surround and Audio Wizard 3.0. It supports VoLTE and packs 3,300mAh battery capacity which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
The Asus Zenfone AR will be coming for Rs. 49,999 and will be exclusive on Flipkart. Google Daydream will be priced for Rs. 2,500 if it purchased with Zenfone AR. The Zenfone AR comes with Jio offer which will give up to 100GB 4G data complementry with Jio Prime membership. The Jio users can also get 4G data in form of 10GB data voucher per recharge or Rs. 309 or maximum 10 recharge till March 18.
