Canon EOS 1500D and EOS 3000D, new entry-level DSLRs announced in India

Canon finally upgradges its new entry level!

Canon announced the Canon EOS 1500D and EOS 3000D, these DSLRs are in entry-level range. Both these powered by DIGIC 4+ image processor and APS-C sized CMOS sensors. The EOS 1500D has 24.1MP and EOS 3000D has an 18MP sensor. Both shoots at 3 fps, ISO sensitivity ranges 100 – 6400 (expandable to 128,000) and 9-AF points.

Both the EOS 1500D and EOS 3000D are equipped with an Optical Viewfinder. Both can shoot Full HD video. They are preloaded with five Creative Filters which are soft focus feel, toy camera effect, fish-eye effect, miniature effect and an artsy grainy black and white effect.

Both have Wi-Fi connectivity for easy connection via smartphones to the Canon Camera Connect app. Through the app, users can easily share images and videos onto social media platforms. The EOS 1500D sports Near-Field Communication (NFC) connectivity too. The Canon Camera Connect app is available in both iOS and Android platform, the remote shooting function is available for users to control camera settings such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO speed directly from their smartphones.

The Canon EOS 1500D and EOS 3000D will go on sale in the end of March and no word of pricing yet.

Connectivity: Wi-Fi only
LCD 2.7- type TFT (approx. 230,000 dots)
