Canon India visions in future with Projectors

Canon is looking forward with its projector!

xeedwx520Canon India redefines the Indian projector market with the launch of its nine LV and XEED series advanced technology projectors. It will provide high image quality to fulfil the needs of customers with better projection of images, lower operational costs and ease-of-use with maximum energy efficiency.

Mr. Yasuhiko Hoshino, Senior General Manager, Canon Inc., said,

About the Projectors:

Canon has also introduced its proprietary LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) technology which makes possible projections that are free of the “lattice effect,” a phenomenon in which a faint grid pattern appears over the projected image. It has eco-friendly features like enhanced lamp lighting system and a standby mode consuming only as low as 0.7W (In Network Off Mode) that significantly reduced CO2 emissions.

Mr. Kazutada Kobayashi, President and CEO, Canon India Pvt. Ltd, said

Apart from being used for projecting data, customers are now using it to project movies, videos and games as well. The new Canon projectors are equipped with high quality optics to cater to such needs. XEED series:

xeed-wx450stThe XEED series have inbuilt Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology which produces fine, detailed images without the lattice effect that is sometimes seen on other projectors. In addition to delivering exceptional brightness and high-resolution performance, the XEED-ST series incorporate a short-throw shift able lens. These capable of projecting a wide vertical range of approximately 75 % to 77 % in addition to a horizontal range of approximately 10 %. It makes effortless installation in a variety of medium-range usage environments, including classrooms and lecture halls.

  • XEED WUX450
  • XEED WX520
  • XEED WUX400ST
  • XEED WX450ST

LV series:

lv-s300The LV series offer lower cost of ownership due to its longer lamp life and air filter-free design. The improved image quality, simple connectivity and easy installation hassle free service to the customers. These are the portable range of projectors utilizing DLP® BrilliantColour ™ display technology. It delivers rich and realistic colour, 3000 lumens of brightness, a 2300:1 contrast ratio for pure black with depth and dimension. In the Eco mode the projector lowers the cost of ownership and helps reduce power consumption by approximately 20 percent. These new Canon projectors are also 3D-ready when combined with an optional DLP-Link System and other accessories.

  • LV-WX300
  • LV-X300
  • LV-S300
  • LV-WX300ST
  • LV-X300ST

All the new series of projectors are ranging from MRP 40,750 to MRP 5,00,000 and majorly these projectors are targeted at sectors like large corporate, education, medical and government. Also the Canon will focus on providing product training to its employees and channel partners. So it will help them to educate the customers and spread more awareness about their products.
