Canon launches highest resolution, full-frame DSLR cameras

Canon India Pvt. Ltd., the world best company in digital imaging has launched thw highest resolution – full framed DSLR EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR.  It has also introduced the XC10 4K professional Video Camera which is compact, lightweight and versatile in design. Now you can shoot 4K/ Full HD videos and amazing still photography with 12 MP. These newly designed camera’s will let the photographers click an uncompromising image quality. these cameras allow for large-format printing and extensive cropping capability while maintaining fantastic image quality due to the ultra high resolution.

Canon has made the presence in Tier 1 and metro cities, and also making a heavy investment to promote themselves in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well. This massive base expansion will help the company to make products easily available and indulge customers in complete brand experience.

Lets take a look at the cameras in detail:

5DS and EOS 5DSR:

The newly launched flagship DSLRs are equipped with 50.6 MP 35 mm, full frame CMOS sensor processors. Also, known to be the highest resolution cameras till date, in canon’s history. The cancellation of Optical low pass filter (LPF) allows the users to take full advantage of the high resolution sensor which helps you capture fine levels of details. The moire patterns while shooting makes this camera more suitable for studio photography.

The EOS 5DS features a functional LPF, just like other DSLR cameras in the Canon lineup. Both of these cameras, are developed specifically for those users who love to capture even the finest details. Also, people passionate about Landscape photography would love these dynamic cameras.

With a 50.6-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor, the EOS 5DSR and EOS 5DS have by far the highest resolution in Canon’s history of EOS cameras.

Few other features which are incorporated apart from high resolution are named as “Fine Detail” picture mode. This mode allows you to configure the sharpness level which will result in the details you were looking for. Also, to handle high pixel count, a new Cam motor driven mirror mechanism has been introduced. Which will minimize the mirror vibration caused due to image shake.

Both EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R feature the latest dual DIGIC 6 image processors, allowing for a maximum continuous shooting speed of 5.0fps, at a full resolution of 50.6 megapixels.

 XC10:

The Canon XC10 4K Professional Video Camera features a compact, lightweight and versatile design for convenient 4K video shooting and 12 Megapixel digital still photography. This camera was designed by keeping multiple genres like wedding photographers, documentary and small fil makers, and news gathering agencies in mind as it offers high performance 4k resolution videos. This camera is also good for cross media professionals as it captures 12 MP still images.

The XC10 Professional Video Camera’s 4K imaging system is purpose-built of proprietary components, including a Genuine Canon 10x Wide-Angle Zoom Lens with 2x Digital Tele-converter and Optical Image Stabilization. Employing a special Canon compact optical system, the lens offers a zoom ratio of 27.3-273mm for movies and 24.1-241mm for photos.

The EOS 5DS, EOS 5DSR and XC10 4K Professional Video Camera will be available at all Canon Image Squares for  INR 2,52,995,  INR 2,65,995, and  INR 1,70,000 respectively.
