Comio C2 Overview

Comio expands their C-Series with the all new smartphone, Comio C2. The smartphone is priced at 7199 INR. The USP of the smartphone is 8-MP autofocus camera at both front and back and 4000mAh of battery. Comio C2 comes in Royal blue and Royal Black colour variant, while we have the black variant with us. The price segment is already filled with plenty of smartphones. let’s check where it stands with them.

Talking about the specifications, Comio C2 comes with 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.4GHz MediaTek processor with 2GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage is 16GB which can be expanded up to 64GB. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with its custom UI on the top of it. It supports Dual-SIM with 4G VoLTE connectivity, other options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and micro USB.

The design segment is pretty different from what all the other smartphones are carrying. The back portion has silver line pattern with a black background. The body is made up of plastic and said to be scratch resistant. The width of the smartphone is slightly wider than the current trend but can be understood as the back is pop-able for SIM and MicroSD card slots. The size and weight are good and can be used easily.

The performance section is a bit weak when compared with other smartphones in this segment. The touch response is on the mark but app response is poor. Most of the smartphones are offering 3GB of RAM with paired SoC, that enhances the multitasking ability of them. Processing section is not impressive but acceptable. The display quality is good and can be seen under direct sunlight. The smaller games like Candy Crush and Subway Surfer works fine. The UI is clean but has some bloat-wares. Apart from it, the company is offering an Anti-Theft app on the phone for better security options.

It sports 8+8MP camera with autofocus and flash. The camera shoots decent images in daylight on both front and back. The results from this camera contain a good amount of details and colours. The camera app is minimal to use and has good customizations. On the power section, Comio C2 houses a 4000mAh of the battery which delivers a full day battery backup with moderate usage. The battery section is really impressive and is the most concerned topic in the budget section. Minimal users will surely get more than a day battery life.

Overall its a great smartphone with decent performance and great battery life. Yes, it’s not the best but if you’re looking for something different from the trend with great design and battery life. You can surely go for it.
