Hewlett Packard (HP) has announced a portfolio of ProLiant Generation 9 servers to meet the extensive needs of data centers of the world. The new servers are equipped with new features and have been tweaked well to accelerate the service delivery of IT companies. The new servers are also well optimised to the new cloud and software based environments. The new servers will undoubtedly set a new benchmarks for other manufacturers in the data center technology.
As per the giant company HP, developing the new servers was completely focussed on the computing process and speed. VP of product marketing of HP Mr. Vineeth Ram told that the Generation 9 line will boast of up to triple computing capacity of the earlier ProLiant models. With these new servers HP will meet the demands of handling immense amount of data meanwhile reducing overall costs. The new servers are equipped with HP’s PCIe accelerators, DDR4 smart memory, Smart Cache and flex Fabric adapters to give an improved performance over conventional servers. In addition to these technologies the servers will also be able to provide fast setup, monitor and maintain the firmware with embedded management systems like UEFI and RESTful APIs. The servers also facilitate converged management across servers, storage and networking to enable a software defined enterprise.

The new HP ProLiant Gen9 servers will be available through HP and worldwide channel partners beginning Sept. 8.
