The global Television brand called Coocaa has made its way across shores in India. The company has partnered with Flipkart to sell their exclusive TV range starting from a mere ₹8999.
Out of the four television sets they launched, the two-run on a custom Linux OS while the other two-run the latest version of Android TV. While the company is excited to test our mettle in the vast market that India has become, they were sold on delivering the best features at an unbeatable price point. This statement is quite evident as the TV’s boasts of features such as bezel-less screen, Dolby Vision, Dolby Audio, Dual AI, Voice Control, Anti Blue Light technology, and calling support.
Android TV: 50 & 55-inch
The Android TV, named 50S3G and 55S3G, stands for the screen size of the 50- and 55-inch variants. Both come with an Ultra HD (4K 3840 x 2160) with HDR10 support. The body and design are especially appealing due to the slimmed-down bezels on the side.
Being an Android TV, they both come preloaded with apps such as Netflix, Hotstar, YouTube, etc. and users can expect timely updates to future versions.
The remote control is rather bland with useful controls for things such as Google voice assistant and live TV. Lastly, the speaker system the television comes in the form of a twin setup of 20W units, each with Dolby Atmos audio drivers.
Linux Based Cheaper Options
Besides the slightly pricey options, users can choose from 50S3N or 32S3U that run on a Linux platform. The TV comes preloaded with Netflix and Amazon Prime, the most critical aspect of the smart viewing experience. The weirdly named 50S3N comes with a 50-inch 4K panel with similar specifications to the Android TV variant. However, the TV misses out on voice-enabled remote, which is a minor drawback. Secondly, CooCaa’s entry-level Smart TV called the 32S3U comes with a 32-inch HD LED panel that has YouTube app preinstalled.
