After recently launching the Note 3 Plus, Coolpad is expected to launch a flagship smartphone in the country. It has recently sent invites for an event scheduled on May 20th. While there’s no mention of the device that will be launched by the Chinese brand, rumours suggest that it will be the Coolpad Max.
The biggest feature of the Coolpad Max is that of Dual Space. In simple words, this means that you would be able to use two accounts of services like Facebook and WhatsApp. This would be the first smartphone in India to offer such an innovative feature, and we’ll surely check it out in detail once it launches.
Talking about the specs, the Coolpad Max is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It’s speculated to come powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core processor, and will be paired with 3GB of RAM. Storage is expected to be 16GB / 32GB.
For imaging, the Max will offer 13MP shooter at the back, and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The device will be powered by a 2,800mAh battery. The smartphone will have Cool UI customisation, which will be running a top Android Lollipop.
