datawind-ubislateAfter the grand success of android based tablet, the makers of Aakash and UbiSlate tablets, DataWind has hit the UK market with their budget tablet UbiSlate 7C+, which was launched in India in September 2012. Recently DataWind has launched 3 brand new smartphones by the name Pocketsurfer 5X, 5 & 3G5.

DataWind UbiSlate 7C+ is a 2G supported calling tablet which runs on android ICS 4.0 OS, which has a 7-inch display with 800×480 pixels screen resolution, which is run by 1GHz Cortex A8 processor having 512MB of RAM, 0.3MP rear camera and runs on a 3200mAh battery. It features 4GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB.

According to Datawind’s UK site, the UbiSlate 7C+ is available at 69.99 British pounds (Rs. 7,000).

The tablet features Office suite and includes Wi-Fi connectivity options along with SIM functionality with voice-calling facility and a 0.3-megapixel front-camera. User also gets one year free unlimited basic mobile internet.
