Delhi Government joins hands with WBA Connected City Advisory Board

Wi-Fi deployment in collaboration with the Delhi Government towards making Delhi a smart city!

Ozone WifiWireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), the industry association focused on bringing Wi-Fi to New Delhi and connected cities. WBA discusses the transformational role of Wi-Fi Connected City Deployments by bringing together close to 200 executives and experts from around the world, including Indian network operators, technology providers, senior government officials and regulators.

The 100 Smart cities were the primary mission by Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this year which encourage implementation of smart solutions to the development issues and complications for proficient use of available assets, resources and infrastructure. Facilitating a profound dialogue and a collective process for the same, WBA founded the Connected City Advisory Board to help deliver the vision of Connected Cities being pursued by a growing number of cities from around the world. It provides an exclusive platform for City Managers and CIOs to knowledge-share and create best practices with their counterparts in other cities and also determine the best way to leverage public-private partnerships.

Delhi is the first city in India to join the Advisory Board, has motivated & paved the way for other cities to take a positive step towards facilitating a discussion for the much awaited topic.
